A jewel of a covered dish in glowing cranberry glass — the beloved “hen on nest” form by Indiana Glass, in the sought-after transparent raspberry-cranberry color collectors chase. A proud, finely detailed hen forms the lid, her feathers crisply molded from breast to wing, settled into a woven-look nest base finished with a pretty string-of-beads rim. Held to the light, the cranberry glass turns luminous — a warm, glowing red-pink that’s far harder to find than the everyday milk-glass and amber hens.

Measurements are 7″ W × 5.25″ T (two-piece: hen lid + beaded nest base). Transparent cranberry (raspberry-red) pressed glass.
